Liens

When a creditor has a lien on property owned by the debtor which is ordinarily not exempt.  The lien of the creditor preempts the interest of the trustee, and if the debtor reaffirms the debt with the creditor, the debtor may keep the property.  If the debtor does not wish to reaffirm the debt, he can surrender the property and discharge the debt.
