Personal Effects

Personal effects are generally exempt as long as they are not of substantial value. Personal effects include dishwashers, clothes washers, kitchen appliances, dishware, television, linen, beds, dressers, clothing and the like. Although not prohibited, it is very unlikely that the trustee will go into your home and seize personal assets therein.
