Civil Suit Judgments

Civil Suit Judgments exist when a creditor entertains the legal process and obtains a lawful judgment against the creditor, except in instances where the judgment is due to fraud, embezzlement, larceny, intentional injury or while operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. With these few exceptions, almost all civil suit judgments are dischargeable in a Chapter 7 bankruptcy.
